DVDs won't rip in sync?

I use ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum V5.0.50 to rip DVDs for use over a network with Apple TV with the following settings:
Profile: Apple TV h264 720p (12080*720)(*.mp4)
Video Quality: Highest (Bitrate: 7000)
Sound Quality: Highest (Bitrate: 256, Sample Rate 48000)

But when ever i rip a DVD the sound is about by ~1 second. Also video seems a tiny bit jumpy like when the camera pans in one direction or another it isnt perfectly smooth.
Does anyone now why?
Also, is there a way to split the sound and video so i can try and put them both in sync because i dont want to rip dvd's again as my last one took about 4 hours to rip at the above settings

You should be able to remux the audio and video and add an audio offset in super.
