Simple question guys (and girls).

Would connecting my PC (via the DVI port) to my HD TV'ss vga port give me close to HD picture quality?

Very noobish question I know but any help would be much appreciated.

I have a 32" Sony HD TV, cant remember exact model.

The model number of the tv is crucial as this will show what panel the Sony is using and therefore someone will be able to tell you whehter vga socket is as good as it should be - ie pixel matching etc etc

If the sony does on that port, then you will definitely get HD quality (to be honest you will still get it, but potentially missing out a few pixels at each side - ie the pc sets a desktop res of 1366* 768 but the tv could either see this whole res (pixel matching) or something like 1280*720 and adjust the picture slightly to fit)

Hi Frank

Ive got the model number. It is as follows - KDL32S201

Hope that helps shed some light on this.
