DVI and HDMI problem

Hi,
I've attached my pc through a hdmi to dvi-d into my monitor and my ps3 through hdmi to same monitor. Each works fine but only when the other is turned off. As soon as both are on both screen channels go black. Sound will still be ok and i can still move around options in ps3 and pc.

Please help.

Suppose monitor can't cope with two signals simultaniously...you looked in the MENU to see if you can switch???

yea im using menu to switch. I've had pc connected before with vga and ps3 through hdmi and it was fine. Though i noticed the dvi option is red so might be something with that!!

If it's red then something is wrong
