Bought a BenQ XL2410T off my friend as he had won an XL2420T.. Having problems getting it in 120hz though.

"Incorrect Cable - please use the dual link DVI cable that came with your monitor"

So I've bought one off ebay (I'd post link but probably against competitor rules etc) and still having the same message come up.
Ebay advert described as below
"DVI-D Male to DVI-D 25 Pin Dual Gold Link Cable"

"Connectors: DVI-D (24+1 pin) Male to DVI-D Dual Link (24+1 pin) Male"

Any ideas??

Yeah, tried both DVI connectors on the graphics card, also tried unplugging my second monitor and running the XL2410T by itself.

My friend lives about 120miles away so testing is out of the question, however he's going to send me the original DVI cable, and if that works then I think I'll be leaving bad feedback for the ebay seller!

Yeah I had a quick google yesterday and other people had the same issue with cheap cables not being wired up.

I messaged the seller last night complaining that it wasn't supporting 120hz and he was only too happy to give a refund without wanting the cable back, apologizing etc

Sorry, no, it was "color pro". I wasn't deliberately ignoring you :p The seller has sent me another message confirming it was part of a faulty batch and that he'll dispatch another when he gets them in stock.
