my friend needs advice

anyone know if you can use a dvi type connection graphics card with a normal monitor which has no dvi? Can you get an adaptor?

as said, you'll probably get one with your card.

have a feeling that image is the other way though :confused:
 
That image is right, the pins are always on the monitor end, so they plug into the vga end of the adaptor and dvi pins go into the card.
