DVI-D Splitter

Hey,

I've just had an LG 29UM65-P, great monitor so far. I now have a spare 19inch monitor with no port to plug it in, my question is if I buy a DVI-D splitter, will my pc recognise it as a separate monitor or will it just show the same thing on both monitors? Thanks

It will show the same thing, but it may not work as you will have the resolution set beyond the 19" capabilities.
