DVI D - VGA help

Hi, not sure if this should be in monitors or graphics cards

I have a GTX 760 that has a DVI-D output, I have a monitor that only has a VGA output.

Will buying a DVI-D to VGA adapter work?

Yeah. It's an active converter so you won't get much change out of £30 for reputable one...

A GTX 760 should have a DVI-I connector.

If you're not already using this you can use one of the DVI-I to VGA adapters which are usually chucked in the box with graphics cards.

yeah im already using the DVI-I port on the card and hdmi i want 3 monitors !

Displayport? That can be converted to VGA probably more cheaply.
