hey guys sorry for the post it may seem silly here the problem.

got the benq 24" and after reading about the cable horror stories i want to order a dvi cable thing is single link or dual link?

ive no idea if there is a quality difference but there is a snag too i have a 8800 gtx.

they dont output hdcp encoded content above something like 1280x800 using DVI-D Dual link (guesswork on the exact res but close enough)

so im guessing i cant go with a dual link cable i would have to buy a single link if i want to be safe?

anyways im confused and lost so if anyone here can help please do and dont hesitate to link a good quality cable i can buy!

Dual Link DVI / Dual Link cables are for 30" Displays or displays requiring a Dual Link interface for higher reasolutions i.e 2560 x 1600

For 24" Displays a standard DVI cable is suffice
