Hello.

One minor question which is really simple, but is slightly baffling me is this.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-018-OK

Would that use the DVI slot on the Monitor and then the HDMI slot on my computer/gpu? or does it not matter which? Just need to clarify as i've just purchased the BenQ G2222HDL 22inch LED Backlit Monitor (1920x1080 resolution)

Cheers for an response, looking to buy my cable tonight so it arrives on tuesday with my new monitor :)

Doesn't matter which end is where but it's usually simpler to use the DVI socket on the monitor because some monitors have different settings for HDMI inputs (like overscan or colour range).

Cheers, and was trying to clarify, as the monitor i linked is dvi and vga only, so the DVI-HDMI would be great, as i could have it linked to my pc, like DVI from the monitor and connected via the HDMI end at my computer.

Thanks for clarifying, now i will try and somehow close my thread. :/

I used clarify too much, sorry :)

EDIT: Will leave thread open, simply as i cannot find a way to close and so other newbies can see what is what when this thread reaches the 20th page or so :D
