Hey there,
I am far from technically minded. Far from it.
Here's my problem. While buying this is just under a week away for me I've hit a snag. I am sure (not certain) the graphics card has the DVI-I Dual Link connections on it, meaning I am also going to have to get a new Monitor/TV to go along with it. Namely, a Samsung with DVI-D connectivity, while I was sure a DVI to DVI connection would work fine and well, I came across the problem:
The Graphics card is DVI-I (I believe) and according to the specifications of the TV, it only has DVI-D. If I used a Dual Link DVI-D cable to connect the two, would I face any problems? Or would it just not work at all?
Help a clueless guy out, thanks in advance.
And you also have my apologies if this happens to be in the wrong section or doesn't belong on the forum at all.
EDIT: Sorry for the links. I thought it might have been more helpful. >_<
