Just put my new rig together this evening. I have this card:

and this monitor :
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-025-AS&groupid=17&catid=1425&subcat=

The card has normal VGA out, HDMI out and DVI out.
The monitor has VGA in and HDMI in but came with an adapter for DVI-to-HDMI.

I have no signal when using the adapter cable from the DVI out on the card to the HDMI in on the monitor. The VGA - VGA however does work. I have not yet installed an OS so I'm just looking at the bios screen. As far as I can tell either the screen's HDMI-in is broke, the card's DVI-out is broke or the adapter cable is broke (unless I need to boot and install drivers for the DVI to work but that just seems silly). I have no compatible components to swap in order to narrow down where the problem is coming from so what I really want to know is...

What would you do next?
