DVI or HDMI output?

What's the best to use? I got the lovely Asus VE247H for Christmas and I'm running at 1920 x 1024 using dvi on my Radeon 7850. It's nice and sharp. But should I use the HDMI option at 1080p?

It wont make a difference in terms of picture quality the only reason to go HDMI is if you want sound to the monitor speakers as DVI does not carry audio

DVI is perfectly fine. You have no speakers so as above, you don't need HDMI to carry the audio

I hope you mean you're running 1920x1080 though The cable will make no difference to quality at all.

Sorry yes 1920x1080 dvi. The monitor has speakers but il never use as I have some edifiers. Il stick with dvi thanks
