dvi or vga cable

Hi, probably a question been asked a lot, which is the better cable to use? i would like to use dvi cable as it will go direct to my gpu instead of using the adapter but would changing cable give me a better picture?

+1, Given a choice, I would always use the DVI connection.

Use Dvi on my monitor and when compared with VGA I fill dvi gives a better picture

I just swapped from VGA to DVI and it's solved all all my little niggling problems.
Monitors are now detected properly (rather than default PNP), don't have to use my modified drivers to get the correct resolution, eyefinity now works at the correct resolution.

Recommended.

Silly question, were DVI is digital, and VGA is analogue, so it makes sense to go DVI.

i guess i should change to dvi, i need a cable about 1m long but ocuk only do 2 or 3m.

DVI is better, its a shame a cable wasn't supplied with your monitor. I got both vga and DVI with my samsung screen.
