DVI output not working on 780TI

I've had an ASUS DirectCU II OC 780TI for about a month and have been using it for a Surround setup with 3 monitors, everything has been working fine but for some reason the bottom DVI output no longer seems to output signal. The monitor its going to is fine.

Im not sure what to do to test if its a hardware failure or some other kind of problem.

I've tried unisntalling drivers and reinstalling them but it hasn't solved it, i've tried to re-setup surround but it only registers 2 monitors as connected rather than 3.

Does anyone else have any suggestions ? it seems a bit strange it would suddenly stop working after working fine.

Im considering doing an entire reformat to see if that sorts it out, maybe some kind of conflicting driver or software is causing issues ?

ive tried running just one dvi cable from it to the monitor with everything else unplugged and it doesnt work, ther same cable works fine if connected to the other dvi output.

i guess its just randomly died.

worked fine one second, restarted pc... no longer works.

i hate pcs

@chunk, As a previous thread about DVI issues, how can the cable connect to both DVI connections on a 600/700 series Nvidia card as 1 is DVD-D and the other is DVD-I, the cable/adapter does not fit both.

What kind of monitor is it and what connection does it have i.e. DVI or VGA (using adapter).

both DVI cables are DVI-D and thus fit into both DVI-I and DVI-D ouputs. no adapters are used whatsoever.

It cant be a cabling issue as it literally worked perfect for a month with the cables plugged in how they are now, then it just stopped working...

1 DVI-D cable going out of the DVI-D output into the DVI input on the 1st BenQ xl2420Qt monitor
1 DVI-D cable going out of the DVI-I output into the DVI input on the 2nd BenQ xl2420Qt monitor
1 HDMI cable going out of the HDMI output into the HDMI input on the 3rd BenQ xl2420Qt monitor

That is cool, as other peep claimed he was plugging in a DVD-I to VGA adapter into his DVD-D port which does not fit.

i have no idea, im just looking for ways to make the port come alive again and thought maybe resetting it or reflashing the bios might do something.

im not particularly technically minded.

thanks for the link, no idea how to flash the card though... will have to do some research.

I had a partially dead DVI port on a brand new MSI GTX 780 Ti @ launch which eventually failed altogether & OCUK replaced for a brand new one recently.
