DVI PORT NOT WORKING

It's a problem having 2 VGA monitors.

You can already use the DVI-I to connect to 1 monitor using the adaptor supplied with the graphics card.

The DVI-D connector is no use to you as it doesn't have an analog signal.

The HDMI is also no use as it doesn't have an analog signal.

I see the HDMI to VGA cables you're referring to but I believe that a simple cable doesn't work - you need a converter.

There seems no way to connect 2 VGA monitors easily or cheaply.

P.S.

You shouldn't be mentioning competitors on this forum.

Yes.

You will need to use the dual link DVI-I connector to your VGA monitor.

The DVI-D single link will be used to connect to the digital monitor. Due to the lower bandwidth of single link you'll be limited to, theoretically, 2098x1311 resolution. In effect the maximum is 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 so no 30" monitors!

OK so I am going to buy like a 17" monitor with VGA/DVI Port and Hopefully this would fix my problems.

thank you for your help
