Hi, I've have 3 computers and one monitor

All 3 computers have DVI outputs, but my dell FP2001 only has one dvi input and one D-Sub Input (but I don't want to used that)

To cut to the chase, is there any kind of switching box that I can plug all 3 computers into and output one lead to the tft?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, they exist. Bit of warning though, they are NOT cheap (especially 3-4 ports versions). For example:

well, a 2 port kvm wouldnt cost near that much, and you could use vga for the other computer. If you have three computers and just cannot use the vga instead of dvi, I would really like to know what you have to use the computers for.

I'm also in the market for a DVI KVM. I currently use a Belkin SOHO 4 port KVM but it doesn't support DVI and USB so I want to upgrade. I've been looking at the Avocent SwitchView DVI 4-port KVM Switch. It supports a resolution of 1900x1200 which would go nicely with a 24" LCD I hope to get soon.

One thing I've learnt in the past with KVM's is always to check out the price of the cable kits before buying. They can get quite expensive for quality cables.

I am struggling a bit to find any good alternatives to the Avocent that support a 1900 x 1200 resolution (or above). Of course I could plug my main PC into the DVI port of my monitor directly and use the VGA port for switching but I still need to upgrade to a USB KVM so might as well get a good DVI one while I'm at it.

do you want one that just switches the monitor or also the Keyboard and mouse? I have seen VGA KVMs with keyboard and mouse but not DVI.

DVI swich boxes can be had easily from electronics stores but they arn't cheap, they are likely to get cheap soon though. (look at how much SCART ones cost now).

I have an IOGear Macmini KVM and it is great, keeps the USB ports live also so there is no switchover Lag.
