DVI to DVI and HDMI

Looking for some device that will allow me to connect my graphics card (DVI) into the device and allow me to switch the connection between a DVI output and a HDMI output.

At the moment I've got 2 lcd's and a HDTV that i'm connecting ti my PC. The 2nd lcd and the HDTV are connected both by VGA cables which are coming from a switch.

So basically I need a switch that instead of having 2 vga outputs it needs to have one DVI and One HDMI.

OR if someone knows a better idea please speak up.

how about a dvi splitter(Y connection)then a dvi to hdmi cable? on one of the tails

Would that work ok with a HDTV ?

can`t say for sure as i have not tried

but i don`t see why not.
possibly might cause feedback if you used all 3 together
thinking about it i have a ati gfx card with 2 dvi ports and a svideo port,it came with a splitter lead thingy to enable HDTV out put via the svideo port(think it is componant as it splits the lead into 3 phono plugs)
maybe check the specs on your gfx or maybe purchase a new one if that is within your budget/requirements

is component just as good a quality as HDMI ?

don`t know for sure.have only had my hdtv for a few weks,i can tell you that componant looks way better than svideo

on my tv though
hopefully someone with more experience than me will pop along and clarify

thanks mate, at the moment i'm using VGA and the quality is very good so as long as its better or of equal quality to that then i'll be happy. Just need either the component or the HDMI connection to run it through my AV alout im not sure if my better sticking with the VGA straight to the TV and just using my AV for the Coaxal digital sound.
