DVI to HDMI Dongle with optical in?

Hi

Is there such a thing as a DVI to Hdmi Dongle that has got an input for optical or coaxial on the side, or even 3.5m jack plug, so that it would pass the sound from my pc through to my hd tv?

I know geforce 280 gtx has got optical input on side so it passes the sound through to my hdtv, so it seems possible, but this is for my media pc, and it is equipped with a 8800gts so it dosnt have this feature

as you have a 8800, you would have to use your sound card to pass the sound via internal sdif, so why not just use the soundcards outputs?

therefore: hmdi just for video, soundcard: sounds (via optical / analog).
