My friend is having trouble with his graphics card. he is trying to plug dvi to hdmi able into a tv,

Problem is nothig coming up on the screen, please help
graphics card is ati x300 with dvi and vga port.
 
make sure you use ati control center in basic mode to setup display.pick clone moniter not extended desktop and you should be good to go.
