Im looking at buying a Minimac to use as a mediacentre PC under my TV, im wondering if I will be able to plug it into the HDMI socket on my Sony KDFE50A10... the MiniMac has a DVI output, my TV has both HDMI and 15pin DSUB pcinput.

Is it possible to get a DVI-HDMI convertor, will it give a decent picture, the TV is native 720p/1080i or 1280 x 720

Seeing as HDMI is just a digital input with some extra security bits shoved in then yes, it will give a good picture - it should be identical.
