Hi guys

quick question how does this perform compared to vga to vga? gonna be connecting a HTPC to a 40" HDTV?

will it perform just as good as the vga to vga?

Should perform great, i just got my cable today and can't really tell the difference between DVI > HDMI and DVI > DVI.

The only problem relates to my tv changing a 1080p signal to 1080i but that can be changed with some muddling about and switching cables, once that's done they're exactly the same from what i can see :D

I'd go with VGA if you can since you won't get any overscan issues, important if you ever plan on viewing text on it,

I've been using VGA to VGA on my MCE PC to Tosh LCD - PQ is great but the stutter/judder arising from the VGA in only accepting 60HZ is annoying me so I might just try the DVI to HDMI after I've installed a new HDD in it today.
