DVI to HDMI

Hi

Been using normal moniter PC cable to connect my PC to my 42" plasma & a sound cable with green jack plugs either end of the cable & its been working great, Now i try to connect the two via DVI to HDMI but not getting any sound through the plasma from anything off the PC......

Do i need any sort of special cable from PC to plasma to enable the sound???

first off for the sound to work that way i believe you need an ati card or to attach your nvidia card to your onboard sound. As for the connection i believe you'll need a hdmi cable and one of those usb to hdmi dongles that often come with graphics cards. I'm no expert but i'm going by what i've heard across the forum.
