Hi guys, I have a palit gts 250 which on it specs states that it has Two dual-link DVI outputs. However on the interface of the card I can only see a dvi and a vga socket. I currently have a dvi monitor connected to the dvi port and intend on buying another dvi monitor which of course will be connected to the vga socket via some dvi-vga adapter. Will this method downgrade the resolution/quality of my new monitor (which should natively run @ 1920 x 1080). Any further specs about the card can be found here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-121-OK.

Thank you for your help.

No and yes. It won't downgrade the resolution, but the quality won't be as good as the DVI.
If it has the hdmi out port, you can buy an hdmi to dvi adapter which will enable the dvi signal into the monitor.

Yes, forgot to mention that it also has hdmi port. So for best quality, hdmi -> dvi would do trick right ? Can't understand why they didn't put another dvi port instead of the vga if there is a significant loss in quality
