Your right, but the police didn't even bat an eye lid when I got 3 points on mine.AtreuS said:I think it may be an offense to knowingly drive with an license that holds incorrect details?
For example if you get a producer and they find that your license isnt correct ( old address ) you can get done for it. Fine of 1k or something?

But then again, I'm still on the electoral roll there, half my bank accounts and credit cards still have my parents address, and my mobile phone bill goes there.
What's to stop me saying that is actually my current address.
I've lived in 5 different places in 4 years. The only place to remain constant is my parents address... changing every little thing every 9 or 10 months is just too much hassel and I don't see myself actually getting everything properly sorted until I move into a house of my own.
Aren't all summonses sent to the address on the vehicle details though? I've had the wrong address on my licence since 1997 and I've never had any problem receiving any letters based on driving offences. I've moved about 7 times since living at the address on my licence, including 2 different countries.monkeyspank said:as long as you've got access to any post that is sent through to you at your registered address, you should be OK. They like to know that they can contact you if necessary or to send you summons etc.
