DVLA Question

Hi,

Is there a limit to how many cars I can register in my name, per year?

I'm lead to believe that you can only register a certian amount before the DVLA class you as a dealer.

So can anyone give me a definate answer to 'how many' and what happens if I exceed that limit.

I have called the DVLA but they are closed due to 'adverse weather conditions'. :eek:

I have registered and unregistered 8-9 cars in one year and have had no problem from the DVLA. So under 9 and your good?

The DVLA dont class you as anything. Your insurance company may have a different opinion, however, as will the tax man if you are making a profit.
