Hi there ive just brought a new car, and have filled out the V5C doc.

Could someone please tell me where i have to send it?, ive tryed searching, and there is no address on the form.

You keep it, the previous owner sends away the their part of the V5, if you need tax though, just take your part of the V5 to the post office along with MOT and Insurance.

When i brought it i took both parts of the forms because last time i brought a car the bloke didnt send it away. So now i have both parts surely something has to get sent away.

In that case, send the main first page (bit with section 6 on it) off to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BA, it clearly says that on the 2nd page at the bottom.

You keep the new owner's supplement, the little yellow strip that tears off. They send their old V5C to the DVLA with your details on it.

If you've got that bit then send it to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 2BT. Check that postcode though it's just off the top of my head
