dwm.exe crashing, caused atixx32.dll

brand new card r9 295x2
also happened with previous cards be it single or crossfire or one in each.
just happens randomly in the desktop environment no gaming.

i have ruled out that this issue is not a graphics cards issue as it happens with 3 perfectly good cards, though the issue seems to be coming from one of the ati drivers or coming from the dwm.exe trying to access the ati driver wrongly.

i have done a clean driver install aswell.

very weird i would say, nothing much on the google front lol
or it could be a problem that ati needs to fix in the latest 14.4 drivers
 
DWM.exe is windows desktop manager, if a virus scan doesn't pick anything up I'd saying something else in your system is at fault. Possibly the drive windows is on or ram.

It will be crashing the video driver as its that which is driving aero etc...
 
ran malwarebytes :D found a few things and removed them and i rebooted.
lets see if those where the cause will report back if not :D
