DX Racer Formula replacement Gas Lift

I have the black/blue DXRacer Formula and I think I've had it for about a year but not sure whether its still under warranty.
When I sit on the chair sometimes it goes down (no I am not THAT heavy!) as though the gas lift is faulty. Just wondered if anyone knows where you can get replacements gas lifts from ?

Thanks. I contacted DXRacer and also found my invoice and as its still under warranty quite clearly OCUK should help me so I posted in the CS.

They wont send me a gas lift they told me to contact OCUK.

OCUK said all they have is a universal one and said they had sent one out but not received anything. So if I get it dont even know if its the right length.

sorry only just seen this. I did get the one from OCUK but the universal one didnt fit because the end that fits into the base needs to be a specific shape.
Trying to remember what I did I think in end I just bought one from a DXRacer reseller in Germany it cost me £33 and turned out to be better than the one I got with it as it was slightly longer so the range it extended to was better.

OCUK cant help they will just send you a universal one (if they have a spare) and it wont fit because the DX chairs use a specific one with a certain type of end. The one I bought is still working fine. Also have fun getting the old one off I watched various Youtube videos which didnt really help. A strong rubber mallet and plenty of wacks along with some WD40 helped in the end. Be prepared for about an hours worth of sweat if you dont have the right tools.

Just to bump an old thread the gas cylinder I bought back in 2017 is failing again. These things dont last long do they and I`m not particularly heavy or use the chair more than a couple of hours sometimes never. Need to find where I got it from again.
