dx10 stutters

just been testing fc2 on my tv and was running some benches to see how my card runs and im having some real problems.

dx9 at very high gives me about 45 fps and is very smooth.

dx10 at ANY settings stutters and hitches constantly, although my resulting fps doesn't seem to reflect the stuttering as if its not even happening.

i noticed this stuttering in the pt boats dx10 benchmark but thought it was just the program but obviously not


seen a few others with my card post results and dont seem to get the stuttering i get so has anyone got any ideas?

on your TV? - what res is that?

1920x1080 but it makes no difference what resolution it is as i does it on my monitor too and thats 1280x1024

installed the FC2 patch that amd/ati released?

no not yet but tbh i can't see that fixing it as other dx10games/benchmarks stutter too.

it used to do it on my 3870 back when i had it on the games/demo's i tried so it must be a software issue somewhere.

i'll give the newer drivers a pop once defrag has finished,

hotfix never worked.

i think its down to the memory/hdd as i get a lot of memory hard faults which is supposed to be normal according to m$ but i have my doubts.
