DX10?

ahh ok cool, oh btw, ill be getting Vista soon (when dx10 cards are cheaper and theres more choice) but ive seen the 32bit version and 64bit version, which one should I choose? Is it based off of hardware?

6300+ @2.8Ghz
2GB 6400 RAM
ATi X1950 XT

If your processor is a 64bit version (which unless its old, probably is) then you can run either. 32bit is easiler than 64bit as you don't have to find singed drivers to use.

Ive heard people are getting better results with the 64bit version... I have a 6300+ clocked to 2.8Ghz, that work with it?

If that's a Core 2 Duo, then yes, all the Core 2 Duo range have 64-bit support.

yeah i know, you sometimes actually have to look around instead of just clicking on the windows download one :D

Though admittly it is harder for some old devices.

I really think there is no excuse for some companies not to have 64-bit signed drivers available. I remember something NathanE posted about the company simply needing to recompile the same code to get 64-bit drivers working, so it really does take minimal effort.
