DXRacer lockable caster wheels

Hi there,

I bought a DXRacer Max series chair last year which has been great. Since getting into racing sims this year the one thing I wish I could do is lock the wheels when I'm playing so the chair does not keep moving back etc.

Does anyone know of some compatible 3rd party lockable caster wheels you can get?

As an alternative, I found those castor cups you can get did the trick on my carpet. You can get them for 50p each in Wilkinsons. Depends what your flooring is, but worth a try.

Can I just ask what are you doing in the racing game that means your chair keeps moving ?? Do you have some kind of VR force feedback ?

I'm guessing people are using a wheel and pedals
If I push hard on the pedals the chair moves backwards

suggest either the chair is too high or not using your heel. Never had that problem myself.

I had a Vertagear chair for a few days and while I didn't get on with it the castors were amazing.. weird but yeah and I'd love to buy some for the chair I ended up keeping which are using plain unbranded castors I bought from the rainforest.

An original castor broke but under warranty I got a new 1 sent out, ages later another 1 broke out of warranty and it's cheaper to buy a whole set rather than a single.

I now always use these instead of castors. Chair will still move/slide when need be but needs a bit more effort and doesnt ruin the carpet like castors do.
