Hello
Is there any update on when the DXRacer King Series chairs are expected back in stock and am i best to place my order to get in the que? Also will there be enough to go round when they arrive?
Thanks
Kev

DXRacer have been pretty poor with their leadtimes, and orders placed that should have been in stock by now have not even left the factory yet in China. I would suggest to take a look at the Vertagear SL-5000 series as a viable alternative to the King series, they are due into stock on Monday. If you really want the DXRacer, I'd expect stock to land some time in January.

Ok thanks i'll give it some thought, do you know if the SL-5000 has a tilt lock on the base that allows the seat base to rock back and lock in that position? I've been trying to find out for my self but it doesn't get mentioned anywhere.

Are the DX Racer chairs comfortable? I was considering buying 2nd hand SteelCase leap, but I would prefer a high back chair and pleather instead of material...

I've read they are and seen reviews on youtube but I've now ordered the Vertagear sl 5000 and fingers crossed it'll also be comfortable.
I understand that what one person finds comfortable another doesn't but there's never anywhere near to try these things.

As comfy as a bucket seat can be, out the two I'd go for the leap (will do your posture and back better in the long run)

I currently own a first gen DXRacer btw.

The thing is, I would prefer a mesh chair or pleather. I've kashmir and after longer time it can get really warm, its not nice. I usually end up standing up for a while to cool down a little, the other thing is this chair is massive and I'm not big enough for it. The other thing I saw, these chairs bend your arms forward. My arms are pretty wide and that's another thing I wouldn't feel comfortable with...

I was looking at a prototype chair on rainforest, if you copy and paste in the browser it should come up.

Pleather is going to heat up as well, just so you know.

It's a tradeoff really, pleather/leather is going to be easily able to be wiped down. Mesh or fabric is going to get disgusting over time. I'll take easy cleaning over that.

I've honestly only had 'overheating' problems when my bare skin has been against a leather chair, however.

Yeah, I use a hover for carpets to wet wash it. It works, but fabric chair is a no, no for me... that's why I'm still looking for a new chair. I would love to have a whole mesh chair, I'll have a chance to sit on a dxracer during the holidays. The other issue I've, is the case leap won't be too comfortable. We've similar looking chairs in the office which are also adjustable... I wouldn't call them comfortable. Another type of chair people with back problems in the office use are called 'senator', these are comfy and you can get a 2nd hand one for less than 80?

I seem to struggle with chairs, i found the dx racer to be uncomfortable after a few hours of gaming/pc reading etc.

So much so i sold it on to a friend for £90 who tried it out before buying it.

He doesnt use the pc as much but even he has said its not as comfy as he had hoped.

i had - DXRacer Formula Series Gaming Chair, Green, OH/FE08/NE
