Dxtory frame rate drop

Hi guys,

I have a question for anyone using dxtory and the logarithmic codec.

Myself and 2 other mates are using this. All same config within dxtory. My pc is the most powerful with the best write speed of 215mb/s

For some reason I am the only one who gets frame rate drops when recording. In arma 2 menu screen I drop by about 15 fps.

Does anyone else get frame drops? I'm debating reinstalling my pc.

Oh and to add, I've tried making the recording drive my ssd vector which has close to 500 write speed. No improvement though.

use the Dxtory codex also change the video quality to medium, having it on high will be no different to medium, also if you don't have an i7 Processor make sure you disable compression, this will cause the frame rate to be more stable and higher.

For a codec use Lagarith in YV12 mode.

I use Lagarith on YV12 mode with multithreading ticked and get FPS drops in some games, less in others. Try some other games and see if you get similar FPS drops.
