Hi all, I think my GTX is dying :(

It all started when I installed the latest nvidia driver (344.75 I think) games started to crash and blue screen in 3D, so I tried to reinstall the last driver I had, but problems persisted. I've reinstalled drivers and run display driver cleaner but it's all the same. Now it doesn't boot at all. It blue screens during windows boot up - I'll attach the image. I tried fitting my old pair of 5770s and they ran fine, but obviously nowhere near as powerful. The 590 runs OK in safe mode, but it seems as soon as the driver gets involved, it crashes.

According to the BSOD, it says it's to do with "nvlddmkm.dll" under event viewer i have a few of these:

The description for Event ID 13 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\Video5
NVRM: Graphics TEX Exception on (GPC 0, TPC 0): TEX LAYOUT

Just been searching some more, and this seems to be a Fermi/344.xx driver issue. Some people on the NVidia forum are complaining of very similar symptoms with Fermi based cards and most 344.xx drivers. I'm going to try and install an older series driver tonight and see if that makes any difference...

I would not use the 320.xx family of drivers as they have a bit of a reputation with some cards getting too hot.
