Is there anyway, or software, that will allow me to create a virtual folder that is made up of two folders?

I have recently installed a new drive in my computer and as such have some of my files split across the two drives.

C:\MEDIA\Movies\
C:\MEDIA\TV Shows\
C:\MEDIA\Music\

E:\MEDITA\Movies\
E:\MEDIA\TV Shows\
E:\Media\Music

Is there anyway that I can create a virtual folder for each of these folders which combines all of the files within these directories?

Hi,

You don't say what version of Windows you are using but the info here may be your best bet using searches (dynamic in Vista but static and so needing refreshes in XP).

One other option may be to play with mount points. This wont put everything in to one place but it may be possible with a bit of shuffling and colsolidation to have something like;

C:\MEDIA\TV Shows\
C:\MEDIA\Music\

E:\MEDIA\Movies\

and then mount the E: folder to a virtual folder on the C: making it look like;

C:\MEDIA\TV Shows\
C:\MEDIA\Music\
C:\MEDIA\Movies\ -> E:\MEDITA\Movies\

Regards
