Dynamo - Magician Impossible S2

amazing show, only a couple of time you can kinda think yeah, I can see what you done maybe but most of it is just amazing!
 
The "mental" stuff that he does we have already seen from Derren Brown for example. He is using very similar techniques to Derren and you can see how similar they are - Dynamo of course puts a lot more "showmanship" into it.
It's the "grand illusions" where he does stand out.
Unlike where Derren says "No actors or stooges were used...." we do not hear the same from Dynamo at any stage.
The "Coke to Tango" illusion, well I've seen liquid changing colour in a bottle before, so the Tango into Coke was never going to be difficult. A pre-placed Coke can could have course complete the illusion :)

Of course bottom line is that there is no such thing as magic, so what seems impossible is indeed possible and if there is no physical way for something to happen then you have to look at the wwakest link - people/humans who can always be manipulated.
 
bit naff and staged IMO, the bit where he was at a fake gig and jumped a load off actors, whats the point? looking back there were only like 20 people at that point... pffffff

yeah i really don't get this whole appeal. the guy and the girl 'just' hold unopened coke and tango... bah

simple tricks for simple folk :D

paid actors and staged tricks.

What you need to keep in mind when watching magic is that the impossible remains impossible. He didn't "shrink" the phone, he swiftly replaced it with a prop, then replaced it back.

I enjoy watching Dynamo perform. And lol at comparing him with Derren Brown, that guys a hoaxter who lost all credibility, mainly after his lottery and flight sim junk, not a magician. Two completely different professions.
 
I think you need to accept it for what it is - entertainment. Clearly he isn't really dong some of those things but it doesn't have to be torn apart to the nth degree.
 
he should stick to what he does best magic tricks, all that walking on water and that crowd jump were just stupid, anyone can do that with a TV company behind them. wires and wood.

No, the "mental" stuff that Dynamo does is similar to what Derren does. Derren reads people which is exactly what this guy does.
As for Derren Brown losing credability - since when?
If you didn't like Flight Sim or the Lottery then that is fine. He's lost absolutely no credability, he still does exactly what he always says he does which is use various techniques and does not use actors or "stooges".
If you haven't already I can only recommend that you go and see him live - absolutely no credability lost at all.
