Dynasty Warriors Origins

I played the demo on a whim after seeing a few YT reviews but its turned out to be a lot of fun to play.
The combat is spectacular for want of a better word, heading out on missions, main story and random missions feels very like Monster Hunter in a way.
Im not one for story but some say the story is excellent, ill be honest i whiz through the story as im all about gameplay.
Ive never played any game in the series but the gameplay loop is as i say very similar to Monaster Hunter as in run missions, level up your weapons, skill trees etc.
Surprised there isnt a thread about it here.

Used to love Dynasty Warriors as a kid back on PS2, if I didn't have so many games on my playlist right now I'd be picking it up

Absurd price for what it is. Koei will completely flood it with MTX too no doubt.

Origins is nothing special IMO, just a bit of dumb fun like you'd expect from a DW. It's only receiving the praise it is because DW9 was a disasterclass.

Yea i'll be waiting for the day this one is in a steam sale to grab it... unless im really really reeeeeally excited for a game, i wont pay over £25 for any games these days. Even then it has to be something special to be a £40 game or something. Anything over that can sod off.
