Has anyone had any luck with the non branded Dyson batteries?

I bought the one below in Feb 21, however it failed in around 5 months, and has now failed again. They state a 3yr warranty so i'm happy to just keep getting a replacement but it is a little annoying.

Obviously one answer is to just get an official Dyson one, but the cost is madness, considering the cost of 3ah batteries for other tools from the likes of Dewalt etc and the fact they also seem to fail fairly regularly and only have a 1yr warranty.

Has anyone bought a non genuine part and had it last a decent amount of time?

I ended up buying a morpilot one from amazon after recommendations in the above thread. I just went for the highest reviewed one. It came with free filters, which was a bonus.

I can't believe the difference actually. I presume Dyson must throttle power when the battery is on its way out, as it is definitely more powerful now. It can also vacuum the house now with plenty of charge left.

Ah cheers. I’ll admit I did notice a boost in power with the new battery over the previous Dyson one.

Will check out that other thread for suggestions too. I’m always dubious of Amazon reviews given how they’re all fake!

It's probably made up nonesense but the ones I bought from Amazon all claimed the cells were Samsung, which made me feel a tad bit more reassured that all they're doing is packaging them into a box.
