E.A why dont they care

A lot of people are massively critical of EA's games because they have spent so many hours playing them! Says something. I'm not keen on EA's recent microtransaction business plan, but they do publish some quality games. The Dead Space series was good and Battlefield has evolved well in some ways.
 
Stop buying the **** they make then. If everybody did this they would be forced either to change or go out of business.

Depends how the contract was handled.
I have friends at a couple of well-known Devs and the number of times they bitch and whine (without violating their NDAs, which is impressive and confusing at the same time) about all these great gameplay things that the publisher has vetoed, because they're the one holding the purse strings... Same happens in movies - Great film, great story, but studio says to make it a pure action and so cut out the character development. Result = Film flops. Seen it happen lots of times.
 
Why would anyone think EA as the publisher doesn't have a significant say in the quality of their output is being stupid. As titled they don't care if it still sells...

When I switch on my xbox one, Fifa 14 loads up and on the majority of days since launch (at least 85% surely) I have been able to pop online to play against friends or on FUT.

Yes there are people who have experienced issues like transfers hanging for weeks etc, however that has not been mine and I guess may other players experience.

You may not like the game for certain gameplay aspects such as kick off goals or OP headers but that does not make the game unfit for purpose. It is a football video game and has given me plenty of value for money so I am happy.

The same applies to all their and indeed other publishers/devs games. They do all function and indeed when they do not function to an acceptable level (ashes cricket for eg) they are removed from sale!
 
My issue is I know what to expect from the games I stopped buying battlefield but FIFA I still buy even though I hate so many easily fixed things. I think the best way to go about this is constant complaining the things we accept need to be brought to EA's attention more. pro evo has been woeful so I have had to play FIFA.
 
I love FIFA. Ok, there's the odd disconnect but for the most part it works fine. If you don't like their games, don't buy them, simple as that really.

Calling people stupid for buying their games is a bit harsh. I buy FIFA, I buy NHL, I get hours upon hours of entertainment out of them. Why does that make me stupid?

2/10 times I start fifa 14 on ps3 and have the bare faced cheek to think I can click ultimate team it freezes the ps3 hard locks it

the problem is sony and microsoft being very lax with quality control when it comes to EA it's down to them to say no sort your game and servers out or you aren't releasing it on our console
