Hey all..

I am looking to buy an old motherboard with dual xeons or Athlon MP cpu's to make a workstation for college for mainly programming.

I've seen a few on ebay that I might buy, but they claim to use the formfactor Extended ATX or E-ATX.

Im trying to keep on a small budget, as I allready have many computers. I need a cheap case for an E-ATX motherboard, now will cases that have stated 'full atx' take an E-ATX Board or will it be to small?

Ive been looking at COMPETITORS NOT ALLOWED and some similar as they are only £10 or so.

If anyone has any suggestions, on a case or where to buy a case It would be much appreciated. I dont want to buy a 'cheapish' motherboard if im going to have to dish out £100 or so on a full tower case.

Thanks a lot..

an E-ATX is extended, and it is a bit wider. They do usually fit in an ATX case, but the screws do not locate for the extended bit.
