Hi all,
I'm looking for an e-commerce package to sell my photographs through my website. I'm not keen on paying very much for it initially and I'd like it to be geared towards a photography business if possible rather than a generic package.

I saw http://www.cubecart.co.uk/, has anyone used that?

I would use Printbutton from Photobox, but I don't qualify as my turnover isn't quite £100k/year yet.

Thanks,
Richard

How do you go about setting the payment portal up with the above, or any e commerce site for that matter?

Thanks, Mark

actinic is pretty damn good, dont know how it compares to oscommerce tho anyone know?
Actinic is 90s rubbish :s

Neither are very good. X-cart, Cubecart, and so on are pretty good.

Oscommerce has a huge community - Zencart is a slightly nicer version, ie a fork, of it, and probably worth trying :)

Depends on the payment providor/gateway you want to use

Aaron

Thats about as much good as a kick in the balls thanks :)

Can anyone else give me a slightly more helpfull answer?

I have no idea about payment portals, Ive never used one and would like to know. All I want to do is have someone beable to pay via a bank/credit card. Dont want it to be paypal etc.

Thanks Mark

But each option has so many different choices; there simply is no 'One Solid Way'

Look in the docs for the system you've chosen and go through the payment options they support and pick the one that's best, or hire some web devs to assist :)
