looking at upgrading from my e-pl1 probably end up giving it the daughter.

Don't have many lenses (3)

would like built in EVF and flash if possible ? budget of around £700ish short list so far :-

E-PL5 +EVF
OMD-E5 body only
Nex 5R/T
Nex 6 kit
DMC-G5 = can get this new for less than £300 :) would mean could get some more lenses :)

mostly shoot portrait and landscapes.

I was hoping to narrow it down to about two to try in a shop in person anything else worth considering?

thanks

What lenses do you have, what do you like to shoot?

Personally I think sticking with m43 makes the most sense unless you want a higher end DSLR.

I like the Olympus bodies because of the on sensor stabilization and the focus on stills photography (but still good video for an amateur). Panasonic are going to the pro video side with less emphasis on stills (but still good).
The epl5 and OMD have the same fantastic sensor, so it is more about speed, focus, body, features. Epl5 is smaller.

thanks.

lenses wise 1.8 45mm olly, kit 14-42mm olly and panny 20mm

shooting wide portrait and landscape

I guess epl5 + EVF = price of OMD so might as well just get OMD really.

From reading around reviews I think it safe to say epl5/OMD in jpeg are better than G5 but not a lot of difference in RAW format.
