I need to send a couple of cars over to Cyprus, if I keep the 718 i will send that and i will send my Model 3.

But I want a EV SUV for my partner and one for my parents.

The E-Tron 55 and EQC both seem to be amazing value for money, Anyone good one? any feedback?

Fat e-tron is a very good car with solid Audi interior. They have also depreciated like crazy. I've heard horror stories about motors failing and being eye-wateringly expensive to replace.
Not particularly economical but I'd have one if I needed a full EV and it was under a proper warranty.

Perhaps merge/ask in the EV thread?

Had one when they were doing the silly deals in 2020. Expensive car, very premium, cheap as chips.........not great on range though!
Which one, the EQC or E-Tron 55?

Nearly went for the EQC 400 myself which had good deals but when I looked at it at a Mercedes dealer the boot was a bit pathetic. Wouldn't have got my dogs in there.

My neighbour had an EQC, which looked nice. Now they’ve bought a Land Rover and sold the EQC (had both for a while), so much for saving the planet. :D

Got two EQC’s in the household - lots of space, lots of power, usual high quality Mercedes interior and been around for a few years now. I picked up a 2021 model with 30k and adaptive cruise from a Merc dealer in October for 24k.

Down sides - it’s shockingly inefficient and even worse during winter

I currently drive an E-tron 45, 2025 plate.
The technology and interior is dated and because of that, I wouldn't recommend one unless the price is right (i.e. used, £25k tops).

The 45 will get 50 miles more than a 55 in case range matters.

Might be dated but it has real buttons on the steering wheel and the split screen for HVAC, although touchscreen, is very good. As is the Virtual Cockpit

We have a 2019 e-tron 55. Like you say, its amazing value for money. We didnt buy it because its an EV it was just the best value SUV and significantly nicer inside than alternatives.

Range is only an issue if you are constantly doing more than 180-200 mile stints. At the moment we are getting 150 miles from an 80% charge. 100% in summer is around 210 (2 - 2.3 mi/kwh). It also charges very quickly we went from pretty much 0 to 100% in just under an hour whilst we were shopping for supplies at our destination. We charge at home and only ever worry about range planning for trips generally > 3 hours.

winter rage references - it's reciprocal summer range problem, if you are living in mid 30s, w/pre-conditioning in the morning, an onerous problem to have (not)
avoid pan roof green-houses.

My pan roof green house is great in the summer loads of lovely light and it's cooled by the time I get in it. Maybe you should buy one.

No, it's correct. Quite often the 'higher' tier models have bigger batteries and more performance at the cost of weight and range. See also i4 40 vs i4 m50

E Tron 45 is the Q4 on MEB not MLB derived fat ETRON in 50 (71kWh) and 55 (95kWh) trim.

Totally different cars?
