E207 Vs 2007

A mate is after a new monitor and he's trying to decide between the two above...

Is there much difference between them? Ideally he's after a 20" widescreen that is great for games.

The only difference between the two is that the 2007WFP is labelled as 'Ultrasharp', because it has a higher quality panel I believe. Apart from that I don't think there's any difference between the two. Depends how much your friend is willing spend.

Got my 2007WFP yeasterday. Played little bit Counter-Strike 1.6. Looks great in using 800x600 resolution Haven't noticed any smearing or ghosting. Colors are simply great. After TN panels I have at work S-IPS is simply awesome.

From what I can tell, the 2007WFP has a higher quality panel (S-IPS to the TN Film in the E207WFP).

This translates to better picture quality and viewing angles.

As well as that, the 2007WFP has more connections etc. on the actual stand.

If you can afford it, the 2007WFP is the better choice.

Yeah the 2007WFP is a far superior screen, much better viewing angles, better colours, more inputs and better stand (height adjust and pivot).
