OK... I've finally decided I'm going to make the switch from AMD to intel. I've currently got an Athlon 64 4000+
I'm going to get a cheap CPU (as you may have guessed from the title) and stick it in a Abit IP35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard so I can put a newer CPU in if I come into some extra cash.
So which cpu should I get, the E2140 or 2160. I plan on overclocking it. Do they both overclock well? Should i just get the one with the highest stock clock speed?
Also, what HSF should i get to go with it? I've never OCed a cpu before, is it easy? I've done a GFX card with ATI tool but i suspect it's a bit trickier than that!
