E2140 Users With Stock Cooler

Hi guys,

If anybody is running the E2140 with stock cooler (all aluminium) I would be interested to know what temp's you are getting idle and also under orthos load according to coretemp.

Please state clock speed and voltage too.

I have disabled speedstep and voltage stepping and get around 45idle and 77orthos. This is on stock volts but at 3.0ghz.

Sometimes hit's 80deg, this cannot be right?

I have reapplied the HSF and has made no alteration. Using artic ceramique.

I am using 0.96 which has tj max of 100 so I think this is the corrected version?

I have 2 fans at the front, an exhaust at the rear. Ambient case temp is 30deg.

PSU gets to over 50deg when under orthos load for a while, is this right?
