The 1st time I played Far Cry and walked over the hill, that view took my breath away, no doubting it looked cool dude. but you’re not quite getting it buddy.
Yes in medium you are losing a bit of texture detail but you still have the amazing film effects, fantastic explosions and all the other refinements. Everything seems to have its own mass which makes things seem more lifelike.

You dont get that happening in Far Cry!!
But dont just look at screen shots though, play the games back to back and then you realise the difference

Yeah I should shut up and play it hehe
. Only tried the demo on my old system and it didn't run too well with the 2900Pro, 1gb of DDR400 and my X2 3800 @ 2.8Ghz. I'll keep out this one now

Fair point. I was just playing Far Cry and was wondering why all the middle mouse button did was open a door, no 'maximum strength'
