Got one of these on the cheap as part of a small upgrade. Never really overclocked anything before so will I need a better heatsink/fan than the standard intel to get it up to say 2.7 stable?

Also what does the m0 bit actualy mean (Also g0 if anyones in the mood to tell me the difference =D)?

no... the stock cooler can handle 2.7

the m0 refers to the stepping of the chip. in this case it means that it draws 8 watts, instead of 12, like the L2... means it runs cooler and more efficiently, in other words :)

They are the different revisions. M0 is better and cooler than the older L2. G0 is the latest revision of 65nm quad core chips, which runs a lot cooler than the earlier B3 version.

A M0 E2160 is capable of a lot more than 2.7Ghz, but at this speed the stock intel cooler will suffice.
