e2160 overheating

I bought an e2160 (among other things) from OCUK, just last week. I was rendering in 3ds max on several occasions, and the pc completely shut off. I eventually booted it back, and the yesterday, decided to monitor the cpu tempt as it rendered. It went above 70 degrees celsius and continued to rise and then the computer shut off again. So I am assuming it is powering down due to the cpu overheating. It is still at stock speed with the stoch hsf, and it is correctly installed. So I am starting to wonder, do you think there is a problem with my cpu?

I've read of e4300 with at least 30% overclock on stock HSF running cooler than my e2160 at stock speed.

Tried re-seating the heatsink and that appears to have been the problem. Temp has dropped substantially, though I'll keep an eye on it for a while.

Cheers for the help!
