E2160 problem

Hoping you guys can help me. I've got an E2160 running on an XFX 650i mobo and its been running fine for a few months, but i noticed tonight that only 1 core is being used? CPU-Z says 1 core and 1 thread, and task manager only has 1 graph for cpu usage. Have any of you got any ideas? Im lost

yeah device manager shows 2. Thats why im stumped?

No i didnt, it was a clean instal of vista x64 its been running fine showing 2 cores for a couple of months

still cant figure out whats goin on, im thinking a duff chip. Anyone else got n e ideas what else to try, before i RMA it?

thanks for the reply, i just tried resetting the cmos, and still only one core's showing in task manager and cpu-z

tried that to, both core 0 + 1 are set to enabled
